Tabligh

1. Responsibilities stated in Dastur Asasi

  • Section 149: Qa’id Tabligh Shall prepare all members to practically participate in preaching
  • Section 150: Qa’id Tabligh shall prepare a scheme for preaching and shall motivate the Majalis to use all their resources to implement it

2. Plan for the Year.

i)  To implement Shura Recommendations (Please refer to Shura Proposals section in this booklet). Ensure that all targets approved by Shura are achieved. ii)  To make more Ansar as active Daee Illalah iii)  To strengthen existing Tabligh activities, e.g. bookstalls, Q/A sessions, Flyer Distribution, Individual Tabligh activities iv)  Hold open house and Q/A answer session quarterly by every Majlis v)  Tabligh /Book stalls and literature distribution regularly vi)  Participate fully in all Jama’at activities vii)  For successful Tabligh and better results along with planning, put great emphasis on prayers. Hadrat Khalifatul Masih IV has said: “perform prayers in a manner that is deserving of prayers and be patient. And give everything towards Allah then remember that to bear fruit is His work” Friday sermon, November 8, 1991 viii)  Collect data about the different ethnic communities in the vicinity ix)  Assign targets of contacts that leads to Tabligh and follow up on the progress made x)  Train and involve Ansar in Tabligh activities xi)  Encourage Ansar to spend at least one full day in Tabligh Activities during a month xii)  Arrange to distribute Tabligh literature to at least 15% of your neighbourhood (Majlis) xiii)  Encourage more Ansar to participate in Tabligh scheme xiv)  Ensure at least 10% of Tajneed meets the criteria of Da’in-e-khususi xv) Hold separate meetings of Da’in-e-khususi at least once a quarter. xvi)  Hold open house and Q/A sessions with non-Ahmadi friends on a regular basis xvii)  Encourage Ansar to invite friends and neighbours at their homes for an informal atmosphere xviii)  HoldTablightrainingclassesforAnsar.Makeuseofthestoriesofthesuccessful Da’iyan. xix)  Build a strong Tabligh Team consisting of assistant and in-charges to manage various activities xx)  List of Da’in-e-Khususi should be submitted to Headquarter.

3. Guidelines to achieve tabligh Targets and objectives

i)  Prayer and supplications: We cannot achieve our goals without prayers and supplications to Allah. All members should be reminded regularly to pray for the success and also write letters to Huzur-e Anwar for prayers; ii)  Formation of Tabligh Committee: Majlis should form a Tabligh Committee to review the Tabligh activities on a monthly basis. Committee must discuss and plan specific tasks like introducing Jama’at in surrounding localities, bookstalls, literature distribution, Tabligh classes, etc according to the approves Shura recommendations. Tabligh Committee consists of Zaeem, Na’ib Zaeem (Saf-e Dom), Muntazim Tabligh, Isha’at, Tarbiyyat, Tarbiyyat Nau Mubayeen and Talim. iii)  Tabligh Classes: Every Majlis try to hold at least one Tabligh class every month. Efforts should be made to motivate all Ansar through sharing of their experiences, visits and other tools. iv)  Tabligh Ba’ait’s Target: It is mandatory for each Nasir to participate in Tabligh activities. Bait’s target for all Majalis must be as per Shura proposal v)  Da’ian-e-Khusoosi: Minimum 10% of Ansar Tajneed should be enlisted as Da’ian-e-Khusoosi. Da’ain must make a pledge to achieve at least one Ba’ait during the year. Names of all Da’ian-e-Khusoosi must be sent to the Headquarters for record and also to Huzur-e Anwar for special prayer. vi)  Invite to Non-Ahmadi families and Tabligh on one to one basis: Majlis must motivate all members to invite their own Tabligh contacts/families and preach them using all available resources e.g. MTA, available literature, audio, and video cassettes / CD’s as well as our website www.alislam.org. vii)  Volunteer at least 2 hours every week: All Ansar are requested to volunteer at least 2 hours every week for Tabligh. Muntazim Tabligh should give them easy and achievable targets/task for the month, get report at the end of the month and send it to markaz viii)  Holding Open house and Q/A sessions: Quarterly/Monthly as required open house and Q/A sessions should be organized as this is one of the most effective tools. It is further requested to maintain a complete record of the contacts for further follow-up. ix)  Book stall and literature distribution: Majalis should endeavour to establish a bookstall and also distribute the available literature at appropriate intervals at least once in a quarter. x)  Jama’at books in local Libraries: A standard set of books for libraries should be provided to all libraries in the vicinity of the Majalis and encourage Ansar to get issued for few days once in a quarter. xi)  Jalsa Seerat ul Nabi and Jalsa Salana: Jalsa Salana and Jalsa Seerat ul Nabi are the excellent opportunities of Tabligh especially for our Non-Ahmadi contacts. All Majalis Should work in advance to bring maximum contacts on these blessed events. xii)  Ashra Tabligh/Tabligh Day: All Majalis should discuss and prepare program well in advance for the event. All Ansar brothers including the whole Amila should participate actively during Tabligh Ashra /day declared by Jama’at or the Majlis. xiii) Submission of Monthly/Ashra report: Zuama Majalis in liaison with Muntazim Tabligh must submit reports on monthly basis before 10th of each month. Muntazim Tabligh should maintain a detailed record of all activities.
